A
major transformation is happening in the 21st century. The center of gravity of
geo-economic and geo-political world is shifting from West to East Asia. Asian
countries are on the rise. This momentum, will be very good in supporting the
ideals of Indonesia as the world's maritime axis.
The
maritime industry is one sector and state assets that most influence on the
progress of the national economy. All of this does not escape from the Asian
free market which then affect the interest of foreign investors to collaborate
in the development of the maritime industry and shipping technology.
To
mewujudkanya by rebuilding the Indonesian maritime culture that had developed
in the era. As a country which has more than 13,500 islands and covers the area
along the 3,000 miles of ocean, Indonesia should be aware of and sees itself as
a nation whose identity, prosperity, and a very bright future.
Indonesia
sea area reached three-quarters of the entire territory of Indonesia. Strait of
Malacca and the Indonesian archipelagic sea lanes lines (ALKI) in general is a
strategic trade route through which world trade ships with trade volume
reaching 45 percent of the total value of trade across the world. This shows
that Indonesia is the most potent and influential country in the sectors of the
maritime industry, because the government will build a large port in more than
6 provinces throughout Indonesia. Because the potential is attracting foreign
investors to jointly build confidence in realizing the shipping equipment
technology that is not less berkualitasnya with countries in Asia and Europe.
To
support the maritime industry and its components, INAMARINE 2016 held an
exhibition of technologies and equipment shipping, shipyard, offshore, ports,
coatings, paints, welding and logistic. The exhibition is very appropriate to
be used as a promotional event latest products related maritime industry and
